TRASEA MARINE Completes 276-Passenger Marine Passenger 

Seats Project for Leading Indonesian Shipping Company

TRASEA MARINE, a professional manufacturer specializing in marine passenger seats, is pleased to announce the successful completion of a 276-passenger seating project in Indonesia. 

This project was delivered for a first-class shipping company or agency operating in the Batam and Kepri region and represents the first cooperation between the two companies.

As part of the vessel refurbishment plan, the client decided to replace all existing seating on board in order to improve passenger comfort, visual appearance, and overall cabin quality. 

After evaluating several solutions, the client selected TRASEA MARINE as the supplier of marine passenger seats for this important upgrade project.

Upgraded Seating Solution with Closed Armrest Design

For this project, the client chose TRASEA MARINE’s TRA-03 reclining marine passenger seats, a model well known for its durability, comfort, and suitability for high-frequency passenger 

vessels.

One of the key requirements from the client was the use of closed armrests. Compared with open armrests, closed armrests feature padding on both sides, providing a more comfortable 

touch and a more solid, premium appearance. This design significantly improves the overall level of the marine passenger seats and has been highly appreciated by the client.

Classic Color Selection Enhancing Cabin Appearance

The seat upholstery was produced using blue and green artificial leather, two classic color options that are widely favored in passenger vessel interiors. The color combination not only 

creates a bright and pleasant cabin environment but also further enhances the visual quality of the vessel. Combined with the reclining function, the selected marine passenger seats greatly 

improve the onboard passenger experience.

Positive Feedback After Installation

After installation, the client expressed strong satisfaction with the final result and shared photos and videos of the vessel in operation. 

The feedback confirmed that the new marine passenger 

seats fully met the project expectations in terms of comfort, appearance, and overall quality.
