This order marks a significant milestone for us, as it is our first project in the South African market, and we are excited about the potential for future collaborations across the continent.

Since 2019, the South African shipbuilding company has approached Trasea Marine for ferry chair solutions for multiple fast ferries. After thorough research and evaluation of our capabilities in the ferry chairs industry, they chose to partner with us for this project. Project Details

The ferry chairs project includes:

• 200 Passenger Seats: Each of the two sister fast ferries is equipped with 100 passenger seats.

• 4 Pilot Seats: Each ferry also features 2 pilot seats.

The client selected a light blue seat cover for one ferry and a dark blue seat cover for the other, adding a stylish touch to both vessels. A unique challenge arose from the client’s request for white piping along the seat cushions and backrests, which required our seamers to enhance their craftsmanship to meet this specification. Additionally, we incorporated a custom logo on the back of each seat to significantly boost the enterprise's visibility.

Our ferry chairs are crafted from high-quality artificial leather, certified with MED standards. This ensures not only a durable service life but also elevates the overall appearance of the ferries.
